CSOs demand time-bound and concrete commitment on aid
Civil Society Parallel Conference on Aid Effectiveness ended yesterday with urgent calls for time-bound commitment to deliver real results for people on the ground towards poverty eradication and social exclusion.
Over 500 representatives from 350 Civil Society Organisations met in Accra, the Ghanaian capital ahead of the High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness (HLF) to push for reforms and measures that must be taken to make aid better.

The 2006 Ghana Multiple Cluster Survey (MICS) has revealed that 47% of women between 15 to 49 years believed that husband is justified in beating his wife.
